Reading submissions for Winter Wonderland 2022: Bindweed Anthology

We’ve been busy bees reading submissions

It has been a busy summer so far for us here at Bindweed. Since we opened our reading period for our second anthology of this year, Winter Wonderland 2022, we have had submissions of poetry and prose from all over the world and we’re delighted with the quality of writing being sent our way. Keep those submissions coming, we’ll be reading for this anthology until November 2022.

Book shout: new novelette by Evan Hay

Congratulations to Bindweed contributor, Evan Hay, on the publication of his novelette, Assemblage, within the fiction collection, Elastic Waxes in Unbounded Media.

Evan has contributed fiction to Bindweed and was published in Issue 11 in 2021.

We wish you all the best with your new publication, Evan!

Bindweed has exciting news: fiction and poetry prizes coming soon

We are thrilled to announce that starting in our next anthology, Winter Wonderland 2022, we will be offering ‘Editor’s pick’ prizes to three contributors. One £10.00 winner will be awarded for best fiction and two £5.00 winners will be awarded for best poetry for each anthology. The three winners will be featured in the anthology and names of the winners will be revealed when the anthology is ready for pre-order. Prizes will be made by PayPal only.

As Bindweed is a not-for-profit labour of love, all prize money comes from sales of our past issues.

All submissions received will be automatically considered for these prizes. You can read our submission guidelines here. We look forward to reading your work!
